Ismaki #34 Challenge

Hello folks!!

I know that I’ve used this stamp quite recently but a friend of mine saw my Sketch Saturday DT card, loved it, and asked if I could make one for her twin brothers wedding on 18th Oct.  I don’t know if I’ve shared this exciting nugget of information with you yet but we’re off to Disneyland Paris on Monday and I don’t know who is more excited… the kids… or me!  So I had to get my skates on with the card (I’m the slowest crafter in the world, remember)  My friend gave me a little bit of the bridesmaids dress material and I have used it on the card by die cutting flowers, cutting thin strips for the tag ribbon and the band across the card and also stitched behind the curled openings.  I followed the Sketch over on the Ismaki Challenge blog.  The other plastic flowers were part of my stash mountain.  All the card and paper used is pearly  blue and white

I cut the semi circle with a compass cutter and made the scalloped layer with fancy edged scissors and mirri board.  The tag was curt using a sizzlet die and the semi circle was embossed using mu Cuttlebug.  The letters are Quickutz Phoebe – skinni mini. There is also a little bit of paper curling and hand stitching going on.  The stamp is ‘Precious Moments’ coloured in using Derwent colour soft pencils, sansodor, paper stumps and also liquid pearls.  The tiny flowers all have a generous amount of glitter on them for that touch of sparkle, alas the photo hasn’t picked it up.

My friend was thrilled when I gave her the card today.

Take care and keep crafting!

Hugs

Sandra xx (only 3 more sleeps ’til Disney!!)
