Another Christmas Card

Hello Folks!

Have completed this card with two challenges in mind.  One being the Papertake Weekly Challenge which was to create a card using the theme of Christmas. The second being the Sketch on the Our Creative Corner Challenge blog.

I love this Tilda Christmas stamp as she is holding one of my all time favourite Christmas icons… the wreath. To me it’s such a welcoming and traditional decoration, I just love it.  This Tilda has been coloured in using Prismacolor pencils, sansodor and paper stumps. I stamped her three times in total and layered up the wreath and lastly her little mittens. It’s not clear on the picture but I have used some red 3D paint to dot the tiny berries on the wreath. The cream circle she is mounted on has been cut using my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities and then embossed using the snow embossing folder. The scalloped circle layer is actually cut from dark green glitter board that gives just enough sparkle to ‘lift’ the design.  The sentiment is also mounted onto the same glitter board to echo the design.  The background paper is Hot off the Press and I have cut around some of the swirls to over lap them on the circle and scalloped circle.  I’m quite pleased with this one.  Has made me feel very festive today.

Thanks for looking and keep crafting!

Hugs

Sandra xx
